02 / About

A second first act.

Rooted in Fairfield County’s music scene. Back together nearly twenty years later. The point was never nostalgia—it was finishing the conversation.

Founded in 2003 by poet Donald Cohen and musician Jon Saxon, The Give found its voice when singer and co-writer Sarah Peterson joined the collaboration. Today, the expanded lineup brings those songs forward with new energy, fresh arrangements, and the same belief in honest, human connection.
